Welcome to the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History!
We are located at the English Park Campus, Uppsala and Campus Gotland, Visby.
Students enrolled to different courses are occasionally taught together and selected lectures are shared via videoconference between the two campuses.
Registration-info (waiting list, admitted with conditions)
Students admitted with conditions (VI)
Students should register through Ladok. Students admitted with conditions (those who do not yet meet the eligibility requirements) cannot register this way. If you are one of those, you need to contact the study administrator and show that you meet the qualification requirements before the course start. You also need to send an email to info@arkeologi.uu.se (for Uppsala) and studentservice-cg@uu.se (for studies at Visby) with information that you do want to participate in the course. Send us you name, personal ID, and the name of the course you wish to enroll in.

Students on waiting list
When vacancies to our courses appear, reserves are contacted via the email you used in your application. The department begins to contact students on waiting lists one week before the course start. Be sure to check your e-mail.
