Department of Linguistics and Philology

Here you can find information on registration for courses at the Department of Linguistics and Philology.

Don't forget to reply to your admission before December 18th.

Please note that not all courses practice registration through Ladok. You can see which kind of registration your course practices either in the welcome letter or on the course page in Studium.

Register in Ladok

For many of our courses you register yourself in Ladok for students. Registration for courses starting at the beginning of the semester is open between December 14 and January 14.

Courses that start in the second half of the semester open for Ladok registration on March 11.

Register through roll call

For courses that don't have Ladok registration you will be registered when you attend the first class. You can find a list of these courses on our page with detailed registration information.

To register to trainee courses and degree projects you must contact the course director as soon as you receive your notice of admittance. You can find out who the course director is on the course page in Studium.

Conditional admittance

If you have been admitted conditionally, you must contact info@lingfil.uu.se as soon as possible and no later than the closing date for registration to prove that you meet the admission requirements and to be registered.

We will check and remove admittance conditions starting January 8.

Waiting list

If you are on the waiting list, the department will contact you by email if we can offer you a place and you will then have 7 days to accept the offer. We start accepting students from waiting lists in the middle of January.
