With a university degree you are well equipped for the professional life outside the university.

There are three levels of higher education and degrees awarded follow the same level. A programme leads to a general or a professional degree.

A degree from Uppsala University is internationally recognised and will provide you with qualifications that are high demand in both the Swedish and international labour market. You will also be well prepared to pursue a PhD.

Closing ceremonies and graduation events

At the end of each academic year there is a closing ceremony for Master’s students who are completing their studies. Individual Master’s programmes and/or university departments may also arrange graduation events. Please note that you as a student actively must apply for a degree.
