Credit transfer in engineering programmes
Students who have studied at another university in Sweden can normally use their merits into their degree without specific credit transfer. In a degree in engineering, courses that are not included in the programme's study plan must have their credits transferred in order to be included in the degree.
In all types of degrees, foreign courses must have their credits transferred in order to be included in the degree.
Follow the general instructions for an application for transfer of foreign credits. It is also important that you follow the specific instructions when applying for transfer of credits toward a Bachelor's or Master's programme in engineering:
- All attached documents should be sent in the same email. All documents should be separate files (pdf).
- Clearly state if the application is regarding transfer of credits for a mandatory course in the programme. If applying for more than one transfers of credit for mandatory courses within the programme, use a separate application per course.
- Download and fill in the application digitally.
