Department of Game Design

Welcome to autumn semester 2022!

Admitted? Admitted with Conditions? On the Waiting list? What happens now?

Registration

If you are admitted to a programme and/or to courses in Game Design you have to register in “Ladok for Students” during the registration period which normally starts after July 29. Please note that you need an activated student account at Uppsala University to be able to register for a course or programme courses. Follow the instructions on the Student Gateway.

Please note that the registration periods may vary. Look in Ladok for the proper dates for your courses!

Did you miss the last day of registration? Contact Student Service Campus Gotland: studentservice-cg@uu.se to see if your place is still available.

All programmes in Game Design are taught at Campus Gotland in Visby (Courses are taught either on campus. Distance-courses are taught online.) During the week prior to the autumn semester (from August 22), the Student Services on Campus will be open daily in the D House on floor 2, if you need help or have questions about the autumn semester.

Admitted with conditions?

If you are “Admitted with conditions” to a course, you will not be able to register online in Ladok. Therefore you must, as soon as possible and no later than the last registration date contact Student Service Campus Gotland: studentservice-cg@uu.se to show how you meet the entry requirements and to get some help with the registration.

Programme students with international merits: If you have international merits and are admitted with conditions to one of our Master´s programmes, you cannot register online and instead, must contact the Student Services at Campus Gotland, studentservice-cg@uu.se, no later than August 22.

Reserve, in the Waiting list

If you are admitted as a "reserve" and placed in the waiting list, you will be contacted by Student Service Campus Gotland via e-mail no earlier than August 22, if we can offer you a place. After that you will have a few days to accept or decline the offer. PLEASE NOTE: Since we need to know how many of the admitted students actually register for the courses during the registration period, we cannot give any advance notice about your chances to get a place in the course.

Did you send in a late application??

Late applications are handled continuously and as soon as possible, by the University Admissions. If/when you are admitted you will be contacted by the Student Service Campus Gotland via e-mail, if we can offer you a place. After that you will have a few days to accept or decline the offer.
