Book circle about equal opportunities
Immerse yourself in equal opportunities through a book circle! Uppsala University Library’s group for equal opportunities offers all students and employees at the University to borrow pre-selected book packages to read together.
Participate in a book circle, read and discuss fiction books with others and together you can immerse yourself in complex subjects, try new perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of other people's experiences. The book circle is part of the University’s systematic work with working environment and equal opportunities.
Register a group
You need to sign up as a group and you sign up for a pre-arranged setup. The group chooses how many of the titles they want to read and how often the group will meet. Four titles are in Swedish and two are in English. The plan will be sent out once you have registered and the book circle starts in January/February 2023. There is no deadline, you can enter the book circle during the year.
The library’s equal opportunity group can come to a start-up meeting of the book circle to get you started.
