About the course
If you want to study specialised language or work with those texts in other ways, such as writing, translating or processing them so that they are comprehensible to outsiders, you may benefit from this course. Here you will learn both what characterizes technical texts and how to study them from a linguistic perspective. You get to know the characteristics of different specialised languages and learn a systematic approach to terms. You will also get tools to deal with challenges when translating specialised texts.
