About the course
The course introduces the focus on Swedish and other Nordic languages. Within the course, you study the breadth and diversity of the subject based on current research, and you put your own previous studies and your planned studies in relation to the subject area. You further orient yourself in the historical development of the subject area. Within the course, you also get the chance to explore the need for linguistic competence in today's society, both inside and outside the academy, and reflect on how education can prepare you for further activities in research and in professions where qualified knowledge of the Swedish language is central. You also develop your ability to present your own competence to target groups within and outside the academy.
