ISP Physics supports the following research group at National University of Laos:
Geophysics
This research group at the Department of Physics at the National University of Laos (NUOL) has received ISP support since 2005.
The group is since 2011 supported through the ISP contribution from Stockholm University. The activities are coordinated by Dr Southone Singsoupho and Mr Viengthong Xayavon.
Objectives
The main objectives of the research group are to develop research activities in the geophysics sector, and to build capacity of geophysics staff, including short term training and PhD education.
