Welcome to the DPCR-ITP Alumni Network!

This is an Alumni Network for the 800 participants of International Training Programmes (ITPs) organised by the Department of Peace and Conflict Research (DPCR): the Advanced International Programme on Conflict Resolution (PACS) 1988-2004, the Top Level Seminar on Peace and Security (TOPS) 2005-2009, Peace and Security in Africa (PASA) 2011-2015 and International Training on Dialogue and Mediation (ITDM) 2017-today. It is a unique network with competence in the field of peace and security and with the common denominator of all having attended an ITP at DPCR in Uppsala from 1988 until today.

The aim of the Alumni Network is strengthening and fostering the contacts and network within the field of peace and conflict between former and current ITP’s of the Department. The Alumni Network will provide a platform for continued exchange and capacity building by organising alumni seminars on thematic issues.

The Network is set up in collaboration with the Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation (DHF) in Uppsala.

Become a member

To be become a member of the Network, please sign up via the alumni network database (click English in the top right-hand corner). Where it says social security number, please enter date of birth year/month/day (e.g. 700501). You may receive an error message about the social security number even if you filled out your date of birth according to these instructions. If so, you can just ignore that message and proceed. When you have filled out the first page and registered into the system, you will be asked about your relationship to Uppsala University. Here you fill out the acronym for the training you attended / the year / and which country you are from (e.g. PACS/2003/Mexico).
