Reception

In the reception you can get assistance with a one-time code to activate your user account (if you don't have a swedish Bank-ID), report issues with the property, and handle other reception matters.

Campus Card

Please note that campus cards cannot be issued at the Rudbeck Laboratory. The nearest campus with card services is BMC.

Storage lockers are available opposite the reception desk at the main entrance and next to Rudbecksalen. Valuables should be kept under supervision or locked in the lockers.

The lockers cannot be reserved, and each student/visitor is responsible for the items stored in them.

The lockers are intended for short-term storage during lectures and are emptied every Monday morning. Any items left behind are stored at the reception.

For posting notices or similar materials, please leave them at the reception, and they will be placed in the appropriate location.

Buildings and fixed installations:

All non-urgent issues should be reported to the caretakers via email as the first option, or via phone at 070-425 02 76, 070-167 90 07, or 018-471 48 46. Always include the room number (4 or 5 digits at the top of the door frame on the outside) and a clear description of the issue.

Examples of issues to report:

  • Poor ventilation
  • Toilet and drainage blockages
  • Heating and cooling problems
  • Doors that do not close or open properly
  • Ceiling/wall/floor issues

For urgent issues, such as a burst water pipe or serious electrical problems, please report them directly to "Driftcentralen" at Fastighet och Service Region Uppsala via phone, 018-611 50 00.

Printers

Report issues with eduPrint printers via email to the university's IT support or by phone at 018-471 44 00. Always provide the printer's name starting with "EDP..." and the serial number starting with "C...". These can be found on the front of the printer.

IT-support

University IT Services (UIT) are available throughout the university. For matters related to IT support, error reporting, orders, and questions, please send an email as the first option or call 018-471 44 00.

UIT utilizes a shared ticket system to ensure you receive assistance as quickly as possible and allocates questions and tasks within the department.
