CCS - Cambodian Chemical Society

The Cambodian Chemical Society (CCS) is a national network of Cambodian chemists aiming to develop the chemistry sector in Cambodia through scientific chemical research, organizing national and international scientific forums, and disseminating results to the society and the nation.

CCS has benefited from ISP support from 2010, to begin with through the previous research group support at the Department of Chemistry at Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), and from 2017 as a separate entity.

Objectives

CCS supports the principals of green chemistry in order to reduce waste, maintain the environment, and enhance the national economy and human safety.

CCS envisions the science of chemistry and chemists, students and researchers in Cambodia with advanced knowledge and skills appropriate to the national requirements of research capacity, the labour market and production.
