Eduroam

Eduroam (education roaming) is a worldwide service developed for the international research and education world. Eduroam gives students, researchers and staff access to the internet. Employees and students at Uppsala University can use the wireless network eduroam, as long as they have a valid employee or student account at Uppsala University. To connect to EduRoam, Akka ID and Password B are required.

UU-guest - The guest network

As a visitor and guest or if you are employed at Uppsala University, you can use the wireless network called UU-Guest. You can connect to that network anywhere in the University's premises where Wi-Fi access is available. There are also tutorials in Campus Gamla Torget's classrooms on how to connect. When you connect to UU-guest, you are connected for 24 hours, it works in all premises around the entire Uppsala University. The only thing required is that you have a mobile phone where you can get your login information.
