Student influence and the Culina Student Council – welcome to get involved!

If you want to get involved in student matters and joint student activities at the Department of Food Studies, Nutrition and Dietetics, you are welcome to contact the department's study council Culina.

The student council acts as a link between the department's activities and its students. The student council's elected representatives are a part of the department's board and have regular meetings with the director of studies, the prefect and the programme coordinators. In this way, students' opinions can be highlighted and influence the department's activities. The student council also usually organises social activities for the department's students.

Student nations

There are thirteen student nations in Uppsala. Membership gives access to the nations' various activities. Membership in the student union and student nation is voluntary.
