We have collected the most relevant and frequently asked questions from our students below. Please read through the list before contacting us.

Q: Where can I find the schedule for my class?

A: You can find your schedules under "schedules" on the course page in Studium, or via searching the central schedule database TimeEdit (log-in required).

Q: How do I get help with IT-related questions?

A: You can find them on the University's IT support page.

Q: Where can I get hold of course readings?

A: Textbooks can be purchased at the Akademibokhandeln (Stora Torget) and Campusbokhandeln (Skolgatan 1). They can also be available in various online bookstores.

The library at Norrlands nation has a good collection of course readings related to Peace and Conflict Studies and can be borrowed by all nation members.

Other readings, e.g. articles, can usually be downloaded on the course page in Studium or from the university's library catalogue. You will find this information in the course guide for each course.

Q: I need targeted study support due to disabilities for my course.

A: You can start by going through the information on the University's page for targeted study support.

Usually, it will involve contacting the respective course administrators at the department after your contact with the central coordinators.

Q: Where can I get help if I need help with handling stress?

A: You can get support and help through the Student Health Service in the form of counselling and workshops.

Q: How can I take a break from the programme?

A: Under certain conditions, you may take a break from your studies. To have a guaranteed place in the programme upon your return, you need to apply for an academic leave of absence.

Q: How can I withdraw from the programme?

A: You can fill out the form to register a withdrawal from the programme

Q: If I have taken a course that is very similar to parts of the current course that I am taking, can I transfer those credits to the current course so I do not have the take the whole course?

A: You can fill out an online form to apply for credits.

Q: How do I book a student counselling session?

A: You can contact the student counsellors and book a meeting.

Q: How do I get hold of a copy of my registration certificate or transcript?

A: You can print out both your registration certificate and transcript via Ladok.

Q: How can I book a group room?

A: You can book a group room at Campus Gamla Torget as well as at other Campuses through TimeEdit. Please consult the Quick Reference Guide on how to book a group room (pdf). Pdf, 451 kB.

A: You will need to apply for your degree. It is not issued automatically.
