Support and services

The University provides a variety of support and services to help you when you need it. This may include study and career counselling, support on reading strategies, IT support, or language support when writing an essay. Available to all students is also the Student Health Service. Further, if you have a disability, you have the possibility to get targeted study support.

If you have any questions about your studies you can contact the central student services or the student services at your own campus. For some matters, you can take actions on your own through various web services.

University Chaplaincies

The University Chaplaincies is for all students, regardless of faith, and offers individual counselling for those who need to talk to someone. It can be about anything in life: study stress, thoughts about your future or your well-being. The staff is bound by confidentiality.

They also organise various activities such as services, choirs, lectures, discussion groups and crisis support. The University Chaplaincies is located in both Uppsala and Visby.

Student & doctoral student representatives

If you encounter problems during your studies, you can contact the Student and doctoral student representatives at Uppsala Student Union. It could be, for instance, if you have a conflict with the University or want support in disciplinary matters.
