Student Health Services
The Student Health Service is here to help you with issues associated to life as a student. Do you have problems caused by stress, insomnia, low self-confidence, performance anxiety, speech anxiety, too much alcohol or other things that make student life complicated?
The Student Health Services offer support and counselling to students in Uppsala: at Uppsala University, SLU (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences) and Johannelund School of Theology.

The light room in Uppsala
Are you getting enough daylight? In the light room at Student Health Services, you can compensate for some of your light deficiency.
Distance learning students
As a distance learning student at Uppsala University and SLU you have the same opportunity as campus students to contact Student Health Services for advice and support if you have mental health problems related to life as a student. We offer digital individual calls and many of our lectures and groups are digital.
Doctoral students
Doctoral students at Uppsala University
If you are a doctoral student at Uppsala University, who are currently 20% active (regardless of funding), you should turn to the occupational health services for support, including counselling. They offer some counselling sessions free of charge before the head of department have to be informed. To book an appointment call the occupational health service.

Doctoral students at SLU
If you ar a doctoral student at SLU, (regardless of funding), you should turn to the occupational health services for support, including counselling. They offer one counselling session, free of charge, before the head of department/equivalent have to be informed. Lectures and courses on demand
In addition to the regular range of seminars and groups for students, the Student Health Services also offers lectures and courses on request from, for example, student associations, study counsellors, or programme managers. Feel free to contact us if you want to book us for a lecture or course!
