Language course before starting the traineeship

You have the option to take a language course in the host country before your traineeship begins, and in that case, you may qualify for an additional grant.

The language course can be of any length in the language you will use during the traineeship or in the host country's local language. It is your responsibility to find an approved course, from your traineeship organisation or a higher education institution in the host country, in connection with your traineeship.

Note that the language course cannot be included in the minimum days for the traineeship. You will not receive a grant for any course fee or days between the language course and the start of the traineeship. State the date of the language course in your application.
